Then mapleton falls is the place to go, you start out at a lookout, looking over the waterfall and out to the back of flaxton, be carefill though as it is very high up, but worth the view you get. Then you can walk down the path and take yourself of a trek through the forest, offering up 3 excellant paths, number one walk is a short 45 min walk, the number to walk is 1hr and 20mins, and the next is a big one, taking 3hrs to complete, but it is worth it. The forest is amazing, offering an excellant view into another life rarely seen, tall towering trees, the enclosing canopy, the ferns are all spectacular to see. To get there, head to nambour, take nambour-mapleton rd, then follow Mapleton Rd until it junctions with Obi Obi Rd. Follow the road until you come to a sign saying mapleton falls rd, take that and follow it to the end. Then you are there. Enjoy
